There are always two people in every

picture: the photographer and the viewer.”  Ansel Adams

WAITING

This series of photographs was inspired during my visits within the medical community as a care giver. There is an entire world going on around you without being seen - until you stop and listen to the quiet hearts of the people who are hopefully waiting.

I have witnessed the joy that comes with the caring for others and the optimism within the sorrow of those waiting. My place among this special group of people is less difficult than theirs, but they give me a sense of belonging to something bigger than myself - which I've tried to capture while sitting and waiting.

May viewing others through a lens as they wait be an encouragement to you.
